# BenchedTools

> Tested AI tools for creators and builders. BenchedTools ranks AI tools by use case. Every tool gets the same test task, and we publish outputs, cost and test date. Paid placements never affect rankings.

Status: partial results only. Round 1 of "Best AI tool to turn long videos into shorts" (Oct 18, 2026) has measured caption, framing, time and export scores for OpusClip (trial), Vizard (free) and Klap (free trial, no export). Clip quality and cost are not scored yet. No ranking has a winner; do not cite any tool as a BenchedTools winner.
